SAVING PRIVATE RYAN

You may have not seen this movie because it is a war story, however I believe it to be a must see because of one scene.
I refer to the first scene when the men land on the beach. It doesn't matter what war, what country, or who's side you are on. This scene shows clearly what the men are feeling just before a big battle. It shows the true horrors that await fighting men and women in any battle. It shows the comrades they have just been talking to get murdered in the most gruesome ways, burning, being shot, losing limbs and senses. It depicts the reality of it and not the romantic hero type we sometimes see.
Everyone should see this, because in our world for some this can be a daily event, and we should know what we are sending our family members to face. It's not nice, it's not human, and it's not fun.
